Competition is for heaviest Red Emperor, Mangrove Jack and Spanish Mackerel

Competition is open the North Coast Bioregion (Pilbara/Kimberley) which runs from the Ashburton

River (21° 46’ S and 114° 50’ E), south of Onslow to the WA/NT border.

You must be registered for a minimum 24 hours prior to weighing and entering your first fish.

All fish weighed in must be taken using a Spear Gun or Hawaiian Sling.

Entries must follow the weighing procedure

Fish can be weighed at GT Diving across the road from the boat ramp in Port Hedland, there will

be a committee member there most days.

All participants shall ensure their catch complies with WA fisheries rules.

Prizes:

• Heaviest fish of each species wins $50

• If a single entrant gets the heaviest of all 3 species, they win $200
